When you open nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
06556 Possible Causes:
06556 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06556 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
