Staring in engine minimum throttle position, not learned mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low or change throttle actuator control module, internal circuit will delay your vw fault. |
06556 Possible Causes:
06556 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 06556 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
