Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low or intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06553 Possible Causes:
06553 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06553 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
