06546 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06546 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
