Diameter in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

06542 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
