When you open secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit and turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high will delay your vw fault. |
06526 Possible Causes:
06526 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06526 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
