This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
06516 Possible Causes:
06516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06516 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
