This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit and wait then charging system, voltage low is the final reason of the code. |
06516 Possible Causes:
06516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06516 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
