The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range and injection pump, timing calibration not learned will delay your vw fault. |
06514 Possible Causes:
06514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06514 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
