This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
06508 Possible Causes:
06508 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06508 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
