06504 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so malfunction indication light (k83), open or change shift up/down wire, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06504 Possible Causes:
06504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06504 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
