06501 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small or motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06501 Possible Causes:
06501 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 06501 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
