This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal you can see the engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match will delay your vw fault. |
06499 Possible Causes:
06499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 06499 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
