The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit . So for next kick down switch, error message from engine contr. will delay your vw fault. |

06488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 06488 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
