This code were stamped on VW Engine case engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector data, incompatible or exhaust pressure sensor is the final reason of the code. |
06487 Possible Causes:
06487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 06487 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
