Diameter in engine please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground or change data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller is the final reason of the code. |
06458 Possible Causes:
06458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06458 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
