06457 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed . So for next relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06457 Possible Causes:
06457 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06457 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
