The problem is about kick down switch malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance and wait then valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
06454 Possible Causes:
06454 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06454 Code
- Inspect all the connections event data recorder request, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
