This code were stamped on VW Engine case vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground or change accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
06448 Possible Causes:
06448 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 06448 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
