06423 Possible Causes:
06423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06423 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
