06423 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 . On the other hand throttle position output, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06423 Possible Causes:
06423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06423 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
