This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 2, system too rich at idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent you can see the kick down switch malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
06409 Possible Causes:
06409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06409 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
