When you open air leak between maf and throttle body to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06408 Possible Causes:
06408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06408 Code
- Inspect all the connections hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
