Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
06404 Possible Causes:
06404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06404 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
