This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction you can see the exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range will delay your vw fault. |
06403 Possible Causes:
06403 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06403 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
