Staring in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
06402 Possible Causes:
06402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06402 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
