The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical you can see the event data recorder request, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
06400 Possible Causes:
06400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06400 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
