The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06398 Possible Causes:
06398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06398 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
