The problem is about transmission range display, circuit open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high or injector control pressure regulator, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06391 Possible Causes:
06391 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06391 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
