This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded and relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
06391 Possible Causes:
06391 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 06391 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
