06361 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ and wait then relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
06361 Possible Causes:
06361 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06361 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
