06356 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel supply heater, control circuit low and wait then transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
06356 Possible Causes:
06356 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06356 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
