06343 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open or engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
06343 Possible Causes:
06343 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 06343 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
