06301 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, system too lean off idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high or change exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
06301 Possible Causes:
06301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06301 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
