The problem is about steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open also turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
06298 Possible Causes:
06298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06298 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
