This code were stamped on VW Engine case engine coolant level low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich and data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
06289 Possible Causes:
06289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06289 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
