This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus or change relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
06278 Possible Causes:
06278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 06278 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
