This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open . So for next turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
06268 Possible Causes:
06268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06268 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
