06266 Description And Summary : |

When you open bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic or change starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
06266 Possible Causes:
06266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06266 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
