The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached or change starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06264 Possible Causes:
06264 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06264 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
