Diameter in engine injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06243 Possible Causes:
06243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06243 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
