06241 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach or fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06241 Possible Causes:
06241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06241 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
