06229 Description And Summary : |

When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine torque reduction, open / short to ground you can see the turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
06229 Possible Causes:
06229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 06229 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
