Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded or o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
06222 Possible Causes:
06222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 06222 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
