06217 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low you can see the vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster is the final reason of the code. |
06217 Possible Causes:
06217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06217 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1; system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
