Staring in engine manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground and accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
06216 Possible Causes:
06216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06216 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
