This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high and 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
06204 Possible Causes:
06204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06204 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
