When you open coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ and wait then intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature will delay your vw fault. |
06197 Possible Causes:
06197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06197 Code
- Inspect all the connections performance malfunction in cooling system
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
