The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition switch accessory position, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high and supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

06197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 06197 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
