06197 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system event data recorder request, circuit low and direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06197 Possible Causes:
06197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06197 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
