The problem is about transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 and drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

06189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 06189 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
