Diameter in engine throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation it can suddenly lead to a significantly more powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster and reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
06186 Possible Causes:
06186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06186 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
