06183 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance or powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller is the final reason of the code. |
06183 Possible Causes:
06183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06183 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
