This code were stamped on VW Engine case vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) and wait then a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06178 Possible Causes:
06178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
