When you open pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start internal control module, driver error . On the other hand relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
06178 Possible Causes:
06178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06178 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
