This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low or change hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
06177 Possible Causes:
06177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06177 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
