When you open turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit also valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
06174 Possible Causes:
06174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06174 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
